Emanuel James “Jim” Rohn or better just known as Jim Rohn was an American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker.
When he was 25 years old, Jim Rohn attended a lecture by entrepreneur John Earl Shoaff.
He was so inspired by this American entrepreneur and motivational speaker, Rohn joined Shoaff’s direct selling business AbundaVita as a distributor.
Two years later, in 1957, Rohn resigned his distributorship with AbundaVita and he joined another direct selling company, Nutri-Bio.
But he still didn’t get into speaking circuit until he moved to Beverly Hills, California.
His speech titled “Idaho Farm Boy Makes It to Beverly Hills” was so well received, that he received more invitations to share it.
From there Rohn started speaking in front of college and high-school classes and at service clubs, before moving on to seminars.
Then Jim Rohn developed his personal-development business.
As they say, the rest is history….
His self-help/personal-development talks and books influenced and improved the lives of million folks all over the world.
Jim’s work focused on the fundamentals of human behavior, that most affect personal and business performance.
