Thich Nhat Hanh exiled from Vietnam for many years, he travels internationally giving retreats and talks.
This popular monk has settled in Southern France and founded Plum Village, the Buddhist meditation practice center and monastery.

In 1967, Martin Luther King, Jr. nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Nhat Hanh led the Buddhist delegation to the Paris Peace Talks.
He is one of the well known Buddhist teachers in the West.
Nhat Hanh offers a practice of mindfulness that is often adapted to Western sensibilities.
Thich Nhat Hanh has written more than 100 books, including the 1995 best-seller “Living Buddha, Living Christ“.
Recently I came across his simple book called “You Are Here: Discovering the Magic of the Present Moment“.
This book was originally written in Vietnamese as a letter to Brother Quang, a main staff member of the School of Youth for Social Service in South Vietnam back in 1974.
