Who hasn’t heard of William Shakespeare’s classic “If music be the food of love, play on” from “Twelve Night”. I am sure you have heard the importance of music in our life. The harmonious melody can enliven our daily life and fill it with the spirit of joy.
Humans have always found music important in their lives; be it for enjoyment in listening, the emotional response, performing or creating it.
I read somewhere that the Greeks said that music and astronomy were two sides of the same coin. Astronomy was seen as the study of relationships between observable, permanent, external objects, and music was seen as the study of relationships between invisible, internal, hidden objects. In other words, music has always been part of our soul.
