Food Quotes, Sayings And Proverbs To Whet Your Appetite

I know there many more so-called food quotes or quotations associated with food or cooking, which I purposely did not include them is this selection. Particularly those by famous authors, chefs, epicures, foodies and comedians

I find some of them are just quips or corny one-liners, for instance, “S?x is good, but not as good as a fresh corn“.

Most of the other quotation sites include many citations by the famous American chef, author, and television personality, Julie Child. Again, I do not offer her mishmash of food quotes here.

I don’t find them to be as “delicious” as her cooking. For examples lines that include: “It’s so beautifully arranged on the plate — you know someone’s fingers have been all over it“, “The only time to eat diet food is while you’re waiting for the steak to cook” or “If you’re afraid of butter, use cream.”

Personally I love to serve my readers a platter of a more refined and “well-cooked” food for thought, rather than stuffing them with bland “half-baked’ prose.

I have specially selected a delectable spread of food quotes sayings and proverbs to whet your appetite.  Hope you like my pick. Savor them.
