Personally I love motivation words or short motivational quotes, rather than those long-winded ones.
These quotes are short but, they speak volume. Didn’t William Shakespeare say “Brevity is the soul of wit?” With just a few words stringed together, yet these motivation words are able to inspire and move the world.
Here are my favorite motivation words or short motivational quotes:
“We see things not as they are, but as we are.” – Anonymous
“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.” – Mark Twain
“Motivation gets you going but habit gets you there.” – (Zig Ziglar – Born to Win (Made for Success Collection)
“What is not started today is never finished tomorrow.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” – Michael Jordan
“Action is eloquence” – William Shakespeare
“Talk doesn’t cook rice” – Chinese Proverb
“100% of the shots you don’t take don’t go in.” – Wayne Gretzky (99: Gretzky: His Game, His Story)
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill (The Law of Success In Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill)
“Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.” – Samuel Johnson
“Inches make champions.” – Vince Lombardi (The Essential Vince Lombardi : Words & Wisdom to Motivate, Inspire, and Win)
“No great thing is created suddenly.” – Epictetus (Art of Living: The Classical Manual on Virtue, Happiness, and Effectiveness)
“No wind favors he who has no destined port.” – Michael de Montaigne
