“The happy have whole days, and those they choose. The unhappy have but hours, and those they lose.” – Colley Cibber
Today I am sharing with you some quotes of happiness. People use different terms to describe the experience of happiness. For some it might be excitement, passion, exhilaration, fulfillment, freedom, feeling fully alive with inspiration and joy. For others it might be more peaceful, content, capable, hopeful, satisfied, and comfortable feeling.
Everyone of us is always seeking happiness, yet this human emotion is one of the least understood. According to studies by neuro scientists have discovered that our brain’s happiness is highly dependent on an individual’s experiences, emotions and thought, and thus capable of being “learned.”
It has revealed that happiness is attainable The brain can actually change as a result of conscious selection of thoughts. In other words, happiness is a choice.
Decide to be happy or happier. Accept and decide to change what you can and accept what you can’t and decide to be happy and more positive. It is a state of mind or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy.
The three-ingredient recipe for happiness:
1.Selective of your thoughts.
2.Feeding your soul.
3.Connecting with others.
As they say, we cannot change the events in our lives, but we can change our response to those events, which will change the outcome for us.
Feed yourself with feelings of gratitude. Think about everything and everyone in your life that you are grateful for.
Things always seem better after you have talk to a good buddy. Friendship is both good for our health and spirit. Connecting with people gives social support and strengthens resilience.
