You have heard the idiom “There’s no time like the present”. We all know that life happens in the present. The past is gone and the future is yet to come or might now even come to you. Yet, most of us carelessly and casually let the present slip away from us.
The sad thing is we willingly allow time to tick away unobserved and unaware. While we engrossed ourselves worrying about the unknown future or rummaging through the past.
We don’t take charge of our thoughts mindfully. But instead we let our thoughts control us easily. Seize the moment while you still can. As Buddha said, “one moment of total awareness is one moment of freedom and enlightenment.”
It is time we live more in the moment. Living with full awareness of the present. We should consciously observe our own thoughts with each passing moment.
I have read this book titled “Present Moment Awareness: A Simple, Step-by-Step Guide to Living in the Now” written by Shannon Duncan. I love this book because it is written in simple language and it really help me to rediscover the timelessness of the present.
Why let your life past you by without fully living it? We all have only one life. So, start to live right NOW!
