Below I have selected just four of my all-time favorite inspirational life quotations to show you how powerful and useful in our daily life.
Living In The Present:
“I have realized that the past and the future are real illusions, that they exist only in the present, which is what there is and all that there is.” – Alan Watts
As you know there is no other time better time than the present. What you really have is Now. Yesterday is gone. The future actually doesn’t exist because when you reach tomorrow, that tomorrow will turn into the present. You can reminisce your yesterday or plan your tomorrow also in the present or Now.
But the problem is we don’t really bother living in the present. It is here now so, we take for granted, until something drastic happens. Then only, we wish we have done this or regret that we shouldn’t say that. Appreciate and savor the moment while you still can.
More For Less:
“Three Rules of Work: Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” – Albert Einstein
As I have just mentioned above, you only have the present moment. Don’t clogged your present with junk. It is time to unclutter all the unnecessary mess and reduce it to the basic essentials. Physical or mental clutter. With less stuff, you have more space, more time to do more important things for yourself and your loved ones. Be they reading good books, meditating or do your daily exercise.
Be Grateful What You Have:
“The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life’s plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life. ” – Robert Louis Stevenson
Be contented and appreciate what you have and don’t bother with what you don’t have. Take advantage of whatever you can have and you should be grateful. Forget about the grass over the other side of the fence. As Robert Brault says: “Enjoy the little and small things in life, for one day you may look back and realize that they were big things“.
Life Moves On:
“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life. It goes on.” – Robert Frost
Yes, live definitely goes on. There is no rehearsal. And remember life is never fair and perfect. Just accept it and live your life, make conscious mistakes, learn from it and move on. Good or bad, happy or sad, as they say, life goes on….it is water under the bridge. Don’t bother to wait for that special occasion. Every day should be an important occasion. So don’t lose sleep over petty stuff.
These four life quotations say a lot more than you think. They can make you view life from a more positive perspective. You would appreciate life more and you have less regrets in life. They can reduce your unnecessary stress and improve your health and the quality of your life.
